Brian Blessed is now living life as a pelican to prepare for role in Roald Dahl adaptation

He is living as a pelican in the area of Dunbartonshire and has been making his own film for 7 years.

“We have been planning this story for a little over 7 years now” said the filmmaker. “It is an exciting time.”

“The story is about a man who gets back on his bicycle, is attacked by a pack of raccoons and spends four months riding away from home.”

He added: “I know that these are all very exciting things to me and I am very excited about this film. This story is something that I have been working on for quite a while now, this is an idea that I have been working on in my spare time.

It’s not just about a man riding a bicycle, and this is still very early. It is more like a fantasy world than any real world. There are no rules or rules by which things can happen, but it all depends on who wins. This is very much an open world movie and everybody that knows what it means will enjoy the freedom that comes with owning a bicycle”

He said he did not plan to include a romantic relationship in the film.

“Any time I need to be in a relationship with a character, like with Joaquin Phoenix or even with Robin Hood, I get to try and make contact with them and then you have to take something away from them and use it for whatever purpose it will be.”

But he did want to make more money. Mr Blessed said he would love to do more movies and said he and his wife had spent £70,000 on filming “as many people as possible” for “one, two or three” films in the first six months of 2022.

Mr Blessed said that whilst filming Roald Dahl came across as too romantic.
