The whale was found whilst plumbers attempted to unclog an undigested burrito and it was also found in an unhygienic condition. The whale was eventually sold and the contents were eaten.
According to an account released with the autopsy and forensic results, after initial assessment from the doctors that there was no trauma injury upon contact, they decided not to discharge any vital organ tissue and transferred the organs to the Veterinary Department of Muhannad University, and to other veterinary hospitals as well due to the fact their health status had deteriorated markedly with the prolonged exposure to the animal’s body.
According to the report, the whale was discovered by a resident of the house who noticed that it was “unusual” that the whale had not died of natural causes, but was rather suffering from the effects of an illness. The report also states that the whale was found in a toilet, which was not the usual practice for a toilet.
